Yes! We provide gentle, fear-free care for both cats and dogs. Whether you have a playful pup, a shy kitty, or a whole multi-pet crew, we tailor each visit to their personality and needs.

Drop-in visits are perfect for pets who feel safest at home. During a visit we can:

  • Refresh food and water
  • Scoop litter or take your dog out for a potty break
  • Give medication if needed
  • Spend quality time with play, cuddles, and photos for you

You choose the visit length when you book, and we follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible.

Yes. We offer in-home pet day care at your home for both dogs and cats, with half-day (6 hours) and full-day (12 hours) options. This is ideal for long workdays, puppies/kittens, seniors, or pets who do best with calm supervision and routine support.

Day care includes supervised companionship, potty breaks (dogs), litter check (cats), feeding as instructed, playtime/enrichment, and a wellness check-in. We follow your routine closely and provide updates so you feel confident while you’re away.

Yes. Our overnight in-home pet sitting is available for both dogs and cats and takes place in your home, so your pet stays comfortable in a familiar environment. We support evening and morning routines, plus attentive overnight care tailored to your pet.

Yes — we offer dogs-only boarding at a sitter’s home, based on availability. It’s a home-style alternative for pet parents who prefer a calmer setting than a kennel.

Yes. We offer pick-up and drop-off (pet taxi) for boarding for an additional fee based on distance. Once we confirm your address, we’ll share the exact fee before you finalize.

Absolutely. Your pet will be cared for by a vet tech with 17+ years of veterinary experience. We’re comfortable with senior pets, anxious pets, and pets that need extra medical attention, including:

  • Medication administration
  • Basic wound care
  • Subcutaneous fluids (SQ)
  • Monitoring after minor procedures (as directed by your vet)

Before your visit, we’ll chat about your pet’s history, current medications, and any red flags to watch for.

We currently serve Midtown Miami, Edgewater, Downtown, Brickell, Wynwood, Design District, Miami Beach and surrounding areas.

Yes — Whiskers & Tails is fully insured. Your home and your pets are protected while we’re providing services.

Most visits are handled by Mandy, a seasoned vet tech and pet care specialist, along with a small, trusted team. You’ll know who is coming to your home before your appointment, and we keep communication clear and personal.

To help your visit go smoothly, please have ready:

  • Your pet’s vaccination history (if available)
  • Any medications with clear dosing instructions
  • Leash/harness (for dogs) or a safe room (for cats)
  • Treats your pet loves (if allowed)
  • Access instructions for your building or gate

We’ll confirm all of this with you by text before your appointment.

Booking, Deposits & Payments

Booking with us is simple:

  1. Choose your service — at-home services, bundles, drop-ins, dog walking, day care, or overnight care.
  2. Select your date and time using our online scheduler.
  3. Pay your 25% deposit (or pay in full if you prefer).
  4. Confirm — you’ll get an automatic confirmation and a personal text from us.
  5. Reminder — we’ll send a reminder 24 hours before your visit.

For At-Home Services and At-Home Service Bundles, please book a separate appointment for each pet.

Each pet needs a different amount of time, and this helps us:

  • Give each pet proper one-on-one attention
  • Keep our schedule realistic and stress-free
  • Arrive prepared with the right tools and supplies

If you’re unsure how to book multiple pets, just reach out before scheduling — we’re happy to help!

Yes. A 25% deposit is required to secure all appointments. This helps us reserve your time slot and plan our route and supplies.

The deposit is refundable if you cancel within our cancellation window (see policy below).

We offer flexible payment options:

  • Square (card payments)
  • Zelle
  • Venmo
  • Cash

At checkout you can choose to:

  • Pay only the 25% deposit, or
  • Pay the full amount upfront

If you pay just the deposit, we’ll send you a secure Square payment link for the remaining balance, or you can complete it via Zelle, Venmo, or cash (based on the payment timing for your service type).

Payment timing depends on the service:

  • At-Home Services & At-Home Service Bundles: Remaining amount is due after each visit.
  • Drop-In Visits: Remaining balance is due 72 hours before the first scheduled visit.
  • Dog Walking Bundles: The total amount is due upfront.
  • Single Dog Walking Sessions: Payment is due after each individual walk.

Yes! Once you book:

  1. You’ll receive an automatic confirmation from our system.
  2. Mandy will reach out via text to confirm details, go over special instructions, and clarify pricing if needed.
  3. You’ll get a reminder 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

This way, nothing sneaks up on you — and you’ll feel fully prepared for your at-home visit.

We totally understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule:

  • Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.
  • Cancelling within our policy window keeps your 25% deposit refundable.
  • With enough notice, we’re happy to help you reschedule to a new day/time.
